What Sports Event Transportation Covers

Sports event transportation provides private sedans, SUVs, vans, and coaches for game days, tournaments, and concerts. We handle rides to and from Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, TPC Louisiana, and other regional venues. Service includes pre-game pickup and post-event return.

Who Uses Sports Event Transportation in New Orleans

Corporate hospitality groups book sedans and SUVs for Saints games and Pelicans matchups. Law firms and alumni associations reserve vans for tailgates at the Superdome. Golf fans use the service during the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana in Avondale. Concertgoers heading to the Smoothie King Center or nearby festivals also book private rides.

Where We Operate and When

Our dispatch team coordinates rides through vetted local affiliate operators across the New Orleans metro area. Caesars Superdome opened in 1975 and seats more than 73,000 fans. The Smoothie King Center is an 18,000-seat arena located next to the Superdome on the downtown side. The main routes to these venues are Poydras Street, Claiborne Avenue, and Interstate 10.

How Pricing Works

A four-hour sedan charter to the Superdome or Smoothie King Center is from $150. Point-to-point rides within downtown are from a written flat rate. SUVs are $150 per hour, or $600 for a four-hour block, and sprinter vans are from $240 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Rates include fuel, tolls, and gratuity. Post-event wait time is billed if the driver waits beyond the included window.

An Honest Limitation

Post-game traffic around Poydras Street and the Claiborne interchange can add twenty to forty minutes. Security road closures around the Superdome prevent curbside pickup directly at the gate. We use designated meeting points, which may require a short walk from your section.

Game day timing

For a Saints game at the Caesars Superdome or a Pelicans game at the Smoothie King Center, the roads close in rings around the venues well before kickoff or tip-off. Poydras Street, Loyola Avenue and the ramps off the Pontchartrain Expressway fill first. The chauffeur drops you at a designated point outside the security perimeter, usually a short walk from your gate, and the same logic applies on the way out: a named meeting point a few blocks away beats trying to reach the curb at the stadium.

  • Round trip or hourly. If you are going straight there and back, book two one-way rides. If there is a pre-game lunch or a post-game dinner, an hourly booking keeps the car with you.
  • After the final whistle. Expect twenty to forty minutes before the streets clear. The chauffeur waits at the meeting point and dispatch confirms the meeting point.

Beyond downtown

Game days also mean LSU at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, about eighty miles up I-10, and golf at TPC Louisiana in Avondale on the Westbank. For Baton Rouge, the New Orleans to Baton Rouge route shows typical timing. Tulane football at Yulman Stadium is Uptown; see Uptown service.

Vehicles for groups

An Escalade seats up to six at $150 per hour; a Sprinter carries up to fourteen at $240 per hour. Both have a three-hour minimum when booked hourly, which usually covers the ride in, the game and the ride out for a short event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you pick us up right at the Superdome gate?

No. Security closures require us to meet at a nearby designated zone or hotel entrance.

Do you provide tailgate drop-offs?

Yes. We can drop you near approved tailgate areas when road closures allow.

What if the game goes into overtime?

We track event timing and can extend wait time, billed in thirty-minute increments.

Should I book hourly or two one-way rides for a game?

Two one-way rides suit a straight trip there and back. If you want the car before or after the game, or the group has several pickups, an hourly booking with a three-hour minimum is usually simpler.

Do you drive to LSU games in Baton Rouge?

Yes. Baton Rouge trips are quoted in advance, and group trips in an Escalade or Sprinter are common on game weekends.
