What Sprinter Van Service Covers

Sprinter van service provides private transportation for groups of ten to fourteen passengers in a high-roof van. The vehicle offers more headroom, luggage space, and seating than a standard SUV. It is ideal for airport transfers, wedding shuttles, corporate groups, and festival outings.

Who Uses Sprinter Vans in New Orleans

Wedding planners book Sprinters to move guests between the French Quarter, Garden District, and reception venues. Corporate groups attending meetings on Poydras Street or the Convention Center use them for team transport. Bachelor and bachelorette parties, alumni groups, and festival crews reserve Sprinters for Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, and Mardi Gras. Private sightseeing groups also use them for plantation tours and swamp tours outside the city.

Where We Operate and When

Our dispatch team is based in New York and sources Sprinter vans through vetted local affiliate operators in New Orleans. Service is available by reservation around the clock, but weekend festival dates fill quickly. The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center offers 1.1 million square feet of contiguous exhibit space along the Mississippi Riverfront. Interstate 10 and U.S. 90 Business provide the main routes between downtown, the airport, and the Northshore.

How Pricing Works

Sprinter van airport transfers are from $195 for up to fourteen passengers. Hourly charters are from $145 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Larger groups or longer distances, such as New Orleans to Baton Rouge or Gulfport, are quoted individually. Rates include fuel, tolls, and driver gratuity. Extra stops and wait time are billed separately.

An Honest Limitation

Sprinter vans are too wide for many narrow French Quarter streets, including most of Royal Street and Bourbon Street. Drop-offs and pickups may require meeting on a nearby cross street or at a hotel entrance. Loading zones in the French Quarter are limited, so extra walking time should be planned.

Where a Sprinter makes the most sense

One Sprinter replaces three or four separate cars, and it keeps a group on the same clock. That matters most on days when everyone has to arrive together: a wedding ceremony, a team dinner, a game at the Caesars Superdome or a group embarkation at the cruise terminals on Erato Street and Julia Street. It is also the practical choice for a group arriving at MSY with luggage, and for longer runs such as New Orleans to Baton Rouge or New Orleans to Gulfport.

Planning pickups for a group

  1. Give us a headcount and a bag count. Fourteen passengers with carry-ons fit comfortably; fourteen with large checked bags may not.
  2. Choose one meeting point per stop. A hotel entrance or a corner that a long van can reach works better than a door on a narrow street.
  3. Share a contact on the ground. One person with a mobile number keeps the chauffeur and the group in step.
  4. Allow time at each stop. Loading a full van takes longer than a sedan, especially with luggage.

Rates

Hourly Sprinter service is $240 per hour with a three-hour minimum. One-way transfers, intercity trips and multi-day group movements are quoted in writing before you book. See the fleet page for how the Sprinter compares with the Escalade and the sedans.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many passengers fit in a Sprinter van?

Most Sprinter vans accommodate up to fourteen passengers, depending on luggage.

Is luggage space included?

Yes. A standard Sprinter has significant rear cargo space, but fourteen passengers with large bags may need a trailer or second vehicle.

Can a Sprinter pick up directly on Bourbon Street?

Usually not. We meet you at the closest accessible corner or hotel entrance.

Can one Sprinter collect guests from several hotels?

Yes. List each hotel as a stop in the reservation. Multi-stop group runs are usually booked hourly so the van can wait while guests come down.

Do you run Sprinters to Baton Rouge or the Mississippi Gulf Coast?

Yes. Intercity trips such as New Orleans to Baton Rouge or to Gulfport are quoted individually based on the group and the schedule.
